Reg Apps & Orders (Oklahoma)

Never be late for a hearing or caught off guard by an application for a hearing/order you didn't know about in Oklahoma! The state of Oklahoma has a detailed process for the integration or pooling of oil & gas drilling/producing units, including the filing of an application or "reg app" for increased density, forced pooling, etc. Geologic exhibits included with the reg app provide valuable information which allows discovery of the competition's interpretations in terms of the contour maps and cross-sections filed with the OCC. Access to the current and historical reg apps via Drillinginfo allows a stakeholder to quickly analyze his/her options and make an informed decision.

Pre-Permits

In Texas Drillinginfo obtains data that indicates the issuance of a drilling permit may be imminent. This Pre-Permit is a valuable tool in the quest to detect future drilling activity. Pre-Permits are mapped at the center point of the abstract where the well is contemplated. This information is entered daily and covers the period of mid-2002 to present.

Permits

Permits, or official “Intents” to drill in Oklahoma, are entered daily into the Drillinginfo database. Our database contains historical permits dating back to 1977. Permits and Intents are mapped at the proposed drill location (from legal and plat descriptions) and include important data such as the proposed drilling depth, zones of interest, and legal location of the well. The permit typically includes a plat showing tract and lease ownership which can often be viewed on the Drillinginfo website.

Oil & Gas Production

This dataset includes the most recent monthly oil & gas production in TX, NM, LA, OK, WY, & CO. Production data is included on a historical basis, typically into the 1970's. Additionally, Drillinginfo has scanned and digitized older production data (1937-1969) in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, & New Mexico.

Wellhead/Lease Level Prices

This valuable Texas dataset includes sales volumes, price on a well or lease basis, as well as commodity seller and purchaser/gatherer information.

Testing Data

Oil & gas well or leases are tested on a periodic basis depending on state requirements. In Texas, Drillinginfo collects and displays current test data as well as historical data dating back to 1977 for gas and 1992 for oil.
