Well Data
Learn how to drill your next well from Drillinginfo’s well data![]() CompletionsData included in Completion forms are entered by DI each day. Completions data includes flow test data, zone depths, and stimulation information. This information is searchable within our database. In addition, we scan many of the completions and plats so that the images are available to our members as well. ProductionThe amount of oil and gas reported to the applicable state regulatory agency produced and sold from all wells or leases is entered into the DI database as it is obtained, and is searchable using a myriad of different filters. This information is usually available through Drillinginfo before the regulatory agency can publish it. Historical production data can be obtained for an additional fee as well. Ask your Drillinginfo sales representative about our old data initiatives. PluggingsIn many states, operators must file an application to plug a well while listing the proposed manner in which a well will be plugged, as well as a final plugging report which details exactly how a well was actually plugged. Drillinginfo provides this information as it relates to specific wells. Well Logs and LAS FilesDrillinginfo has scanned and depth-registered approximately one million well logs and more than 25,000 digitized LAS files throughout the states of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Louisiana. Most of these logs have been obtained through the University of Texas Bureau of Economic Geology and are one-of-kind that typically cannot be accessed through other log libraries. Users can either print the image or use the depth registration functionality to develop cross-sections, formulate top predictions, or contour entire fields. The exhibits support requests for the OOC to create or change a unit. Exhibits include type logs, well tests, structure maps, fault plane maps, isopach maps, cross sections, reservoir data and unit outlines. DI's collection includes most of the exhibits presented at Unitization Hearings, from the 50's though the present. Track EventsDrillinginfo tracks events that take place during the drilling of wells in Louisiana and Texas. The system keeps track of when these events occur as well as some detailed information about the event. Drillinginfo Tracks the following well events:
Mineral OwnersNow users can locate mineral owners throughout the state of Texas, see fractional interest at the well level, and determine the NRI of active wells.
